The Campaign for Alzheimer's Research in Europe is a UK-based charity, known as the Alzheimer's Research Charity, registered with the Charity Commission, no. 1077279, and with the UK Fundraiser Regulator affirming good fundraising practice.​

 

Alzheimer's Research Charity (France) is the international arm of the charity, registered as a not-for profit association under the French law regulating public Associations of 1 juillet 1901, RCA no. W242005127.

 

Our Mission is to support basic and applied research into the understanding and treatment of Alzheimer's disease.


Our Campaign is guided exclusively by supporting the best scientists and best academic science in the UK, France and throughout Europe,

 

The Charity also supports academic meetings to encourage scientific exchange and collaboration between the leading research centres and teams throughout Europe.

Update on availability of new drug therapy in the UK.

 

This month, the drug Lecanemab has been approved by the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) for use in the UK for those suffering from early Alzheimer’s disease.
